New block of the month starting September 30^th using Penny Haren’s book “Pieced Appliqué.” Offered in two color ways: blue/white or pink/blue/brown (see pictures). There will be 24 blocks each, $2.50 per block, one or two blocks can be purchased each month. Blocks must be picked up between the 15^th and 30^th of each month or a late fee of a $1.00 per block will be charged. Finishing kits will be available for $45.00 up front or $50.00 layaway due at the end. Finished size with all 24 blocks is 74” X 74”.

      Penny will be helping me kick off this Block of the Month by introducing the method used in this book, and she will stay for a book signing open house. The demonstration is from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm and Open House from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Entrance is FREE for Quilters that have sign up for the BOM and paid for their book. All others there will be a $10.00 cover charge. (If you decide to join the BOM after hearing the speaker, you can use your entrance ticket toward the purchase of her book). This event will be a lot of fun with prizes, food, and special prices on the supplies needed for the BOM.
